Founded by John Andela, Sachant Quick Chill Cooler Rental was built from a vision that began more than 25 years ago. With decades of experience in the refrigeration industry, John recognized the growing need for a reliable mobile quick chill cooler service that could support events, festivals, food vendors, caterers, and businesses requiring dependable refrigeration on location.

 

The name “Sachant” holds special meaning, inspired by John’s two daughters, Chantal and Sasha — combining family values with a business built on dedication, hard work, and innovation.

Born and raised in Peterborough, John spent his career as a refrigeration mechanical technician, working with major food store chains throughout Toronto and operating his own successful refrigeration contracting business for over 50 years. After retiring, he realized his passion for the industry and customer service was far from over. That passion led him back into business with the launch of Sachant Quick Chill Cooler Rental.

 

Today, Sachant provides dependable mobile refrigeration solutions for a wide range of events and industries. Their quick chill coolers have been trusted at major events including Cobourg Water fest, Canadian National Exhibition, and Canada Day celebrations in Ottawa. Sachant’s largest mobile trailer has the capacity to hold over 100 draft beer kegs, making it an ideal solution for large festivals, concerts, sporting events, and outdoor celebrations where dependable cooling is essential.

 

As the company continues to grow, John is now developing mobile freezer units designed specifically for frozen food storage and transport, expanding Sachant’s capabilities to meet even more customer needs.
